Grade 3

Grade 3 is an exciting year for our students as they head into their middle schooling years. It is a time of transition where our students will have mastered many of their early years foundations in literacy and numeracy and will now begin to acquire more complex understandings. We create a fun but structured environment for all students to thrive. Students are excited by new opportunities such as 3/4 sport, using the senior playground, interschool sport and their first overnight school camp!

Grade 3 is a year of increasing intellectual independence, stronger social connections, and physical growth. The focus shifts toward deeper learning and more complex skills, while also fostering a growing sense of confidence and responsibility. It’s a pivotal year where children start to see themselves as capable, independent learners and individuals
